該書是機械工程專業(yè)英語教材,內容涵蓋了機械、電子、液壓等學科領域的基礎理論,以及相關現(xiàn)代新興技術的發(fā)展動向。具體內容包括機械零件、互換性及測量、電工電子等專業(yè)基礎知識,以及機電控制、機械設計與制造、液壓傳動、數(shù)控技術、機器人技術、計算機輔助設計與制造、微機電系統(tǒng)、納米技術等現(xiàn)代新技術。本教材既可作為機械類本科生和研究生專業(yè)英語的學習教材,也可供相關專業(yè)科技人員學習與參考。
本教材注重基礎知識與專業(yè)前沿發(fā)展相結合,機械、制造與電工電子學科相結合,以及控制、測試與設計、加工等專業(yè)相結合,尤其注重課程教學與自學相結合。各課文附有詞匯表、注釋、練習,另外,還提供了部分練習的參考答案。
前言一般學生在完成大學和研究生階段的通用英語學習后,對專業(yè)科技英語仍較為生疏。為提高機械工程類本科生、?粕、研究生及工程技術人員的專業(yè)英語水平,既鞏固專業(yè)基礎知識,又了解機械工程專業(yè)中的新知識和新技術,特編寫了本教材。本書是原《機電工程英語》(主編:李浙昆)的修訂版。本教材在編寫過程中,既兼顧面,又注意點,力求做到點面結合。全書共分八個部分:第1部分以現(xiàn)代新型技術為引入點,主要介紹了仿生機械、人工智能等基本內容;第二、三部分分別介紹了機械學、機械零件、互換性與測量技術、電工電子、摩擦與潤滑、集成電路、可編程控制器等基礎內容;第四、五、六部分分別介紹了機電控制、測試、機械設計與制造等的基礎與發(fā)展,內容涵蓋了機械工程專業(yè)的主要知識點,同時包括專業(yè)發(fā)展的趨勢和專業(yè)前沿的新技術;第七部分介紹了增材制造、特種加工、精密加工、綠色制造等現(xiàn)代先進制造技術;第八部分著重介紹了微機電系統(tǒng)、納米技術、超導技術等現(xiàn)代新興技術。教材各個部分既相對獨立,又相互支撐,形成了較為完整的體系。教材編寫體現(xiàn)了基礎知識與專業(yè)前沿發(fā)展相結合,機械、制造與電工電子學科相結合,以及控制、測試與機構、設計、加工等專業(yè)相結合,尤其注重課程教學與自學相結合。各課文附有詞匯表、注釋、練習,對課文的重點和難點進行了說明,另外,還提供了各部分練習的參考答案,形成了本教材的突出特點。本教材由32篇課文、17篇閱讀材料組成。根據(jù)不同教學學時的安排,教學中可以選擇部分內容進行課堂教學,部分內容作為課外閱讀和自學材料。對于本科生、?粕慕虒W,可以選擇基礎性的課文為主,專業(yè)前沿的新技術、新知識的課文為輔;對于研究生的教學,可以選擇反映專業(yè)前沿的新技術、新知識的課文為主。教材編寫過程中得到了昆明理工大學劉忠、任偉、袁銳波、郭瑜、王立華等老師的支持,在此表示衷心感謝!另外,在本教材的編寫過程中引用參考了中外學者的著作、教材、文獻等,在此表示衷心感謝!由于水平所限,編寫過程中難免有紕漏和欠妥之處,請各位讀者不吝賜教,以便改正。編者2018年4月
李浙昆,博士、教授(二級)、博士生導師,云南省省級教學名師、昆明市科學技術協(xié)會副主席。77級上海交通大學學士、84級浙江大學碩士、02級昆明理工大學博士。曾留學英國、美國、澳大利亞,曾任昆明理工大學機電學院副院長。主持或參加完成研究科研項目30余項,主持完成國家自然科學基金項目2項、作為第2負責人完成國家自然科學基金項目1項。獲得國家專利50余項,發(fā)表論文150余篇,其中40余篇被EI、ISTP、CPCI等收錄。
