本教材以詩(shī)歌、戲劇、小說(shuō)、散文的體裁排列,選取可讀性強(qiáng)、具有典范性膾炙人口的經(jīng)典作品,幫助學(xué)生接觸原著,拓寬視野,使得學(xué)生在持續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)、運(yùn)用英文的基礎(chǔ)上,提高文學(xué)鑒賞水平,能運(yùn)用英文為學(xué)科服務(wù)。本教材主要選入英美經(jīng)典詩(shī)歌華茲華斯、拜倫、雪萊、惠特曼等詩(shī)人16家25首;節(jié)選《哈姆雷特》《榆樹(shù)下的欲望》《皮革馬里翁》等8個(gè)片段;選入小說(shuō)《名利場(chǎng)》《呼嘯山莊》《苔絲》《愛(ài)情是個(gè)謬誤》等15篇,散文15篇,附錄部分節(jié)選了可讀性強(qiáng)的演講,最后為提高趣味性、促進(jìn)中外文化交流,還節(jié)選了一些中國(guó)名著的名家名譯。適用中文系本科生和英美文學(xué)愛(ài)好者閱讀使用。
田兆耀,男,1972年生,文學(xué)博上,東南大學(xué)副教授,碩士研究生導(dǎo)師,江蘇作家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員,江蘇傳媒藝術(shù)研究會(huì)理書,中國(guó)高校影視學(xué)會(huì)會(huì)員。主要從事西方文學(xué)、西方文藝刪論、戲劇影視新媒體文學(xué)等方面的教學(xué)與研究工作。在《中國(guó)大學(xué)教學(xué)》《江蘇社會(huì)科學(xué)》等雜志發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)淪文50余篇,出版《電影美學(xué)與文化學(xué)》等專著,主持或參加“當(dāng)代歐美電影療法研究(14YJA760031)”等多項(xiàng)科研項(xiàng)目。
