本書(shū)講述: 《焚書(shū)》共6卷, 是哲學(xué)與文學(xué)著作。書(shū)中收錄了明朝著名思想家、文學(xué)家李贄生前所寫(xiě)的書(shū)信、雜著、史評(píng)、詩(shī)文、讀史短文等, 這些作品較為全面地闡釋了李贄的政治思想和哲學(xué)思想, 因此《焚書(shū)》也是研究李贄生平和思想的重要著作。目前《焚書(shū)》在國(guó)內(nèi)尚未有英譯本, 在國(guó)外也暫無(wú)全譯本。本書(shū)譯著者系統(tǒng)整理了《焚書(shū)》的內(nèi)容, 對(duì)選編作品進(jìn)行了注解, 并把作品翻譯成英文。這本英漢對(duì)照讀本的出版不僅對(duì)中國(guó)哲學(xué)思想史研究有著重大貢獻(xiàn), 也有助于在海外推廣與傳播優(yōu)秀中華傳統(tǒng)文化。
